Green Appleton Repair Cafe
We held our fourth Repair Cafe on 9th August - we are getting to be old hands now! We did wonder whether it being in the holiday period would mean
it would be less popular - but no! We had a steady stream of people coming, with all sorts of things to mend.
Unfortunately, one of the first things to be looked at was the large coffee percolator. It has a long and distinguished service record, but this time it couldn't be fixed. Hopefully some parts can be sourced at a later date and it can enter the fray again.

Activity in the Repair Cafe
You can see some stats summarising what went on in the graphic below. We were really pleased to have carried out so many repairs. As usual, the
sharpening service was the most popular. Appleton is going to be a lethal place, with so many sharp blades about! This time we also had a lot of garment
repairs, from rucsacs to remodelling dresses - Sewing Bee watch out!
Keep scrolling to have a look at some of the photos of the day.

Photos of the Repair Cafe
Here is a selection of photos from the Repair Cafe. Not so many staying for tea and chat this time, but plenty of repairers hard at work.
If you came, thank you. We hope you're happy with your restored item
