Our last Repair Cafe was held on August 15, 10am - 1pm in the village hall. It was a quieter affair than the previous ones, either because of the holidays, or maybe we've mended everything in Appleton that's got broken? It was a warm sunny day, so we could put the sharpening guys in the carpark. Trade was steady rather thanm brisk, but we made some noteable repairs, such as rescuing a defunct heater, and mending a silk trouser suit that was intended to be worn at a wedding - with 20 minutes to go before departure!
